The peace that foreigners seek in Minas Gerais

Most foreigners come to Brazil to disconnect from reality and enjoy the joy of our people. And some of them also come to explore the incredible nature that surrounds us. We have 7,367 km of coast alone, all bathed to the east by the Atlantic Ocean.

What many do not know is that besides the paradisiacal beaches, it is possible to find great potential in rural, ecological and spiritual tourism in Brazil. Where? In Minas Gerais.

We have picked 5 places with farms and sanctuaries to enjoy the peace and energy of the waterfalls, valleys and mountains of Minas.

Delfinópolis

A city that offers an easy access to the Serra da Canastra National Park. In it, you find inns at farms far from the city center and from the lagoon haste.

Flag Peak

For those who like the trail and are physically prepared, at 2892 meters high is the Flag Peak, the third highest mountain in Brazil. It is located inside the National Park of Caparaó, on the border between Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo.

Gonçalves

The main attractions of Gonçalves are in the countryside, formed by small towns surrounded by waterfalls, belvederes, workshops and gastronomy. For those who enjoy  adventure, in Serra da Mantiqueira, pine and araucaria forests lead to waterfalls and ecotourism activities such as rafting, boating, rappelling, climbing and horseback riding.

Serra do Lopo

This mountain is in the region of Extrema, where one has one of the most exciting rafting in Brazil. In addition to the walks through stretches of Atlantic Forest, there you will find two ramps to jump from hang gliders and lookouts with panoramic views of the city.

Ibitiboca

Dozens of waterfalls, peaks, caves and trails to explore. Among them, we can find the Heaven’s window Waterfall and the Pião do Pião, an incredible scenery for beautiful photos and, of course, energy to make you feel brand new.
